Machon
Roni
Geared for young
women age 18 and up, Machon Roni aims to inspire its students with the
challenge of their role as Jewish women and instill in them a love of
Torah. Students appreciate Machon Roni's vibrant and dynamic approach
to Torah studies, with an emphasis on personal growth. Machon Roni is
a warm place in Israel for girls from abroad. They find a caring environment
and comfortable dormitories, which remain open throughout the academic
year. The school staff sees to all Shabbat and holiday arrangements
for its students so that they don't have the burden of making their
own accommodations. They are either invited to their teachers' homes
or the homes of hospitable English-speaking families.

Our caring Rabbis
and women teachers have been chosen for their ability to bring Torah
to life in the classroom. Animated discussions are our trademark, keeping
the students thinking and involved. Rabbi David Goldstein, Principal,
and his staff are committed to creating a warm, bonding, caring environment
for the girls so that they will be able to grow in Torah. They take
an interest in the needs of each student and are available for consultation
on all matters, both academic and personal.
"Only
if teachers are truly excited about learning Torah can they successfully
communicate this enthusiasm to their students," says Rebbitzen
Mollie Goldstein, veteran women's educator and Dean of Machon Roni.
"Once the students absorb that enthusiasm, it will remain with
them as they go on to establish their families. We consider the
education of young women to be of paramount importance to the Jewish
people, since they will be the ones to set the Torah tone in the
home."
At Machon Roni,
in-depth textual study alternates with classes on thought-provoking
philosophical issues. Mrs. Sorah Goldstein, Principal, explains that
the focus of the Machon Roni program is on character building. "Successful
education means internalizing the lessons and putting them into practice
in everyday life. We offer classes on many different levels so that
each student can be challenged according to her skills."

Who is the Machon
Roni student?

to reach her full potential as a Bat Yisroel.
- She realizes
that these are the years for learning Torah and wants to take full
advantage of her time in Israel.
- She dreams
of the chance to learn Torah for its own sake, not as just another
subject upon which to be graded.
- She hopes
to contribute to Am Yisrael with whatever talents she has been given.
