The following list describes major items of interest in
The Chamber of the Holocaust:

1. Bergen-Belsen Memorial - built by the World Federation of Bergen-Belsen Survivors.

2. Sochovoliah - Marble monument to the destroyed synagogue of this community in Poland

3. Candle Memorial to the Six Million.

4. Tomb of our Brothers - A light constantly burns over this marble tomb in memory of the largest concentration camps in Europe.

5. Monumemt to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising - features the flag held by the partisans in their struggle against the Nazis.

6. Artifacts Salvaged from the Destruction - Glass windows display the artifacts salvaged by Israel's former Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Herzog. On display are the following pieces:

  • yellow arm patches

  • shoe soles, bags, envelopes and drums made from Torah scrolls

  • Siddur of Beryle-the "prayer-book" of a boy who, knowing only the "Aleph-Bet" prayed that G-d would join his letters into meaningful prayers.

7. Jacket of Desecration - sewn from Torah Parchments, which a Nazi officer wore to a ball in order to infuriate the Jews. Revenge was taken by the Jewish tailor forced to desecrate the holy scrolls. He chose Leviticus XXVI as his "cloth," a chapter enumerating all the curses possible of being brought into the world.

8. Torah Scroll of Tunisian Jews - This scroll from Gerba, North Africa is stained with blood of its martyrs.

9. Furnaces - Symbolic Furnaces of the gas ovens in which the 6 million died.

10. Ashes and Soap from Jewish Martyrs whose dying words proclaimed their faith in the coming of the Messiah.

11. The Yellow Patch Monument - Memorial to the Yellow Patch that the Jews of the Ghetto were forced to wear.

12. The Children's Memorial - To the memory of l,200,000 children murdered by the Nazis.

13. Courtyard of Annihilation - Each plaque which lines this courtyard wall commemorates the destruction of a Jewish community.

14. Monument to Tzurtkov, Poland - Engraved on the stone monument is the name of the town and a picture of its synagogue. The-locked metal box contains the names of the martyrs of this town inscribed on parchment.

15. The Italian Jewish Martyrs monument.

16. Anti-Semitic collection of hate literature of present day Neo-Nazi and Jewish hate groups.

17. The Oskar Schindler grave site on Mount Zion next to the Chamber of the Holocaust Memorial

18. Plaque to Aden, Africa - Commemorates the destruction of this Jewish community by Arabs in 1948, set off by Israel's Independence.

19. Deerskin Torah Scrolls saved from destruction.

20. Scrolls of Destruction - brought by many cities throughout Europe to commemorate families that were wiped out.

22. Plaque Rooms - 3 rooms contain Yarhzeit Memorial plaques donated by families and friends in memory of their loved ones.
